The Los Angeles Lakers will be without their superstar forward, LeBron James, for their 25th game of the season tonight.
NBA insider Shams Charania was among the first to report.
Lakers’ LeBron James is out tonight vs. Spurs.

James is listed as out due to his left calf contusion. However, James missing the game has more to do with it being the second of a back-to-back, as he played 40 minutes in a 127-125 road loss to the Dallas Mavericks last night.
The 38-year-old dropped 33 points, eight rebounds, and nine assists in their loss. The purple and gold don’t need the superstar, as the Spurs sit at 3-19 and riding a 16-game losing streak.
Teams always tend to do their best against the Lakers, and hopefully, that isn’t the case tonight against a bottom-feeder team. We won’t be able to see a Victor Wembanyama vs James matchup, but we should see a win for your purple and gold. Let’s not be so sure, though, as this team tends to surprise us more times than not.
LA will look for their 15th win of the season, with James missing his second game of the season.
