De’Aaron Fox drops Stephen Curry, Damian Lillard truth bomb amid rapid ascent to superstardom

The Sacramento Kings have a bonafide superstar in De’Aaron Fox. He’s become one of the NBA’s elite point guards and the quarterback of one of the better teams in the Western Conference. Like all players though, Fox has definitely modeled his game after some of his peers and certainly has a few fellow point guards that he likes matching up with. On an appearance on NBA TV, De’Aaron Fox stated that Milwaukee Bucks guard Damian Lillard and Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry are the two opposing points guards he likes to play against.

“I would say that one for me now, it’s Steph and Dame. . .Steph is ten years older than me, Dame is eight or nine years older than me,” Fox said. “So being able to see those guys play in the league for so long and then now going in and matchup with them, Dame gave me my ‘Welcome to the NBA’ moment. Just being able to matchup with those guys is definitely fun for me.”

Stephen Curry and Damian Lillard have both been playing in the NBA for quite some time now and are still among the league’s elite at the point guard position but the Kings have one of the best though in De’Aaron Fox.

This season, Fox has been averaging a career-high 30.2 points per game, 4.6 rebounds, 6.1 assists and 1.7 steals with splits of 48.7 percent shooting from the field, 39.6 shooting from the three-point line and 73.6 percent shooting from the free-throw line. The Kings are currently 17-12 and fifth place in the West standings.
