If Taylor Swift is ever in need of a new backing dancer, perhaps she should look no further than boyfriend Travis Kelce.

Kelce, whose romance with Swift has dominated headlines over the past month, was captured pulling out some incredible dance moves at a charity fundraising event with Kansas City’s women’s soccer team this week.

The Chiefs tight end took time out of his busy schedule to attend the event alongside Current star Lo’eau LaBonta and volunteers from the charity.

And in a clip which has gone viral online, he even tried to execute LaBonta’s famous twerk while dancing to Aretha Franklin‘s ‘Respect’.

LaBonta set the internet ablaze last year by pretending to limp away after scoring a penalty and then pulling out a twerk, a celebration which instantly became iconic.

Kelce did his best to emulate the move at the fundraising event, before dragging in two women who were watching from the side to get involved while clapping and waving his arms in the air.

Current’s X account captioned the video: ‘Couple of KC icons at twerk’.

Kelce is enjoying a whirlwind romance with pop sensation Swift, who has attended four of his last five NFL appearances for the Chiefs.

His new flame was at Arrowhead on Sunday for their victory over the Chargers, where she was seen celebrating with Patrick Mahomes’ wife Brittany.

And as Swifties and fantasy football enthusiasts are well aware, Kelce is actually performing better with his new girlfriend in attendance.

After being ruled out with a hyperextended knee in Week 1, when the Chiefs lost to the Lions, Kelce had four catches for 26 yards in his return against the Jaguars. But in the six games since Swift first watched Travis play, he’s caught 48 passes for 499 yards and four touchdowns.

That includes a 12-catch performance for 179 yards and a score in a 31-17 win over the Chargers on Sunday, when Swift was back in an Arrowhead Stadium suite and chest-bumping Brittany Mahomes, wife of Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

In the four games Swift has attended, Travis has averaged 108 yards receiving. He averaged 46.5 in the two games she did not.

Kelce conceded that his new love interest is having a strong impact on his stats during his latest New Heights podcast episode with brother and Philadelphia Eagles center Jason.

‘How can I not be aware of this?’ he admitted.

As his brother Jason explained, there is a stark contrast for Travis when Swift has been in attendance this season.

‘We all saw Taylor was in attendance and it is turning out it was good she was in attendance because they put your stats up,’ Jason said. ‘When T Swift is at the game you average 99 yards; when your remaining friends and family are there you average 46.5 yards.

‘Not only is social media noticing it but it appears Big Red [coach Andy Reid] is too.’

Travis replied: ‘I love Big Red, what a guy. If you’re getting Big Red’s approval and blessings you know you are doing something right.’
