Travis Kelce has already had to suffer jokes about global superstar girlfriend Taylor Swift ‘putting him on the map’ but it seems the Kansas City Chiefs star may also have to compete with her cats for fame.

Despite being a two-time Super Bowl winner, Kelce’s fortune reportedly doesn’t hold a candle to the pop star’s felines.

Swift’s cat Olivia Benson, who she adopted in 2014, ranks third on the Forbes-style Ultimate Pet Rich list, according to AllAboutCats.com.

The site, which calculates the net worths of pets based on a fictitious ability to earn money via Instagram accounts, estimated Olivia is worth $97million.

That makes the cat, named after Mariska Hargitay‘s ‘Law & Order: SVU’ character, worth more than Swift’s tight end beau.

Kelce, in comparison, is estimated to have a net worth of $40million in 2024. An impressive figure but still one that puts him $57million off Olivia.

Kelce’s celebrity profile hit dizzying heights in 2023 amid his romance with Taylor Swift, with the A-List couple dating since the summer.

But he already had an established level of fame both on and off the football field, which has been carefully curated by his managers, André and Aaron Eanes.

Throughout 2023, Kelce has landed advertisement deals with Pfizer and Experian and even hosting Saturday Night Live.

Back in October, Kelce filed for five trademarks on phrases, including his own name.

In addition to his name, the NFL player is reportedly also looking to trademark his Instagram handle, ‘Killlatrav,’ his signature catchphrase, ‘Alright Nah,’ a reference to his jersey number, ‘Flight 87,’ and ‘Kelce’s Krunch.’

The filings claimed that Kelce will use the trademarks for a variety of purposes, including pins, posters, bobbleheads, clothing and even a cereal.

The Eanes brothers, who run A&A Management and signed Kelce as the company’s second client, had projected to make the tight end as famous as Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson but now worry his fame might have gone too far, they told the New York Times.

Meanwhile, Olivia is seemingly enjoying fame of her own. ‘The Scottish Fold earned her fortune starring alongside her owner in several music videos, has crafted her own merchandise line, and has had cameos in many big-budget ads, including for the likes of Diet Coke and Ned Sneakers,’ the website stated.

Olivia is one of Swift’s three cats with the Anti-Hero hitmaker also owning another Scottish Fold, Meredith Grey, who she adopted in 2011, and a four-year-old ragdoll called Benjamin Button.

The site didn’t offer net worths for Swift’s other two cats, but they are no stranger to social media and the limelight.

Benjamin’s profile would have shot up last month after he appeared on the cover of Time Magazine with Swift after she was named Person of the Year.

She first laid eyes on the feline on the set of Me! that starred both Meredith Grey and Olivia Benson. She fell in love and took the cat home after the photo shoot, bringing her collection to three.

‘Hi honey, you’re beautiful,’ she told the feline as she gently stroked it. ‘He’s purring.’

Benjamin Button’s handler added: ‘He purrs a lot. He’s a purr lot. He flops over on his back and gets belly rubs.

Swift asked: ‘Can I have him?’ and the handler replied: ‘He is available.’

She took him home immediately after the shoot, naming him after fictional character Benjamin Button from the 2008 movie.

Meredith Grey has also racked up millions of likes on her Instagram page, featured in her music videos Blank Space and Me! and appeared in adverts.
