Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce break silence on ‘Playoffs’ as Chiefs’ duo chase history

Patrick Mahomes and Co will take on the Miami Dolphins on January 13. The Chiefs, around this time last year, had clinched a #1 AFC seed. As a result, they did not have to play a Wild Card round. However, this year, with their offense in shambles, they will have to take the longer route.

Can the reigning Super Bowl Champions manage to defend their title?

Patrick Mahomes and Co are so ready for the Playoffs!

The Chiefs are in the process of scripting franchise history. If they win the Super Bowl this year, it will be their first back-to-back Super Bowl win. And the team wants to build hype among fans ahead of the playoffs. The Chiefs’ X account shared an electrifying video. Mahomes in his jersey said, “Every time we in the playoffs, it’s like a holiday.” He was followed by Kelce, who said it’s the same feeling you get on Christmas morning. You just can’t wait to open your presents.

Christmas is the “most wonderful time of the year”? Not so for Chiefs fans. Anthony Hill a famous actor, said, “Playoffs is the most wonderful time of the year.” Will they succeed in beating the Dolphins? Or will the Dolphins win their first Super Bowl in nearly 50 years? The Chiefs did beat the Dolphins earlier this year. But it won’t be so easy this time around.

What does KC need to do to beat Miami?

There’s no doubt that KC was the hottest team at the start of the year. They had Mahomes and two Super Bowls in five years to boast of. But as the season wore on, people were not sure anymore. The defending champs have several self-inflicted flaws that they need to fix. Incomplete passes, high turnovers, and poor production from both Mahomes and Kelce. And Taylor Swift. She has been a big distraction for the Chiefs. We’re not saying this. Skip Bayless said this.

The Dolphins, on the other hand, looked set to clinch the #1 seed in the AFC a few weeks ago. But alas, they lost their Week 17 and 18 games.  However, not all hope is lost. While the Chiefs’ offense has been crumbling, their offense continues to power through.

Will they repeat the loss of November 5? Or will they zoom past Mahomes and his Chiefs?
