Ariana Grande Gets Pelted by a Lemon During Coachella Set: ‘What the F—?'(Watch video)

Ariana Grande surprised her fans with Justin Bieber Sunday night during her headlining set at Coachella, but earlier in her performance the star received a shock of her own: a wayward lemon.

In a clip captured by a fan, the “7 Rings” singer, 25, was hit in the chest by the tart fruit as she strutted down the stage with her backup dancers.

Taking a pause between choreography, a shocked Grande said: “What the f—? That’s ’cause one of y’all threw a lemon at me! S—.”

The singer’s fans were understandably livid after the unexpected pelting, and many connected the perpetrator’s choice of fruit to the Beyhive (whose queen B is most often associated with the lemon after the release of her 2016 album Lemonade).

Last week, rumors ran rampant that Grande — the youngest act ever to headline Coachella — made double the amount as Beyoncé.

But according to The Blast, the women were paid $4 million for each weekend and the contracts for Grande and Beyoncé were “structured exactly the same way.”

Others created memes of Grande’s former Nickelodeon costar Victoria Justice prepping to chuck the citrus. (The Victorious stars previously got into an online tiff back in 2013 when their show was canceled, but Justice has denied multiple times that the pair ever feuded.)

Grande kicked off her second Coachella performance with “raindrops (an angel cried)” off her sweetener album before transitioning into “God Is a Woman.”

Then, the Grammy nominee sang her hits off her latest album, thank u next, including singles “bad idea” and “break up with your girlfriend, i’m bored.” Other songs on her setlist included: “R.E.M. (Wake Up),” “Be Alright,” “sweetener,” “Side to Side,” “7 Rings,” “Love Me Harder,” “breathin,” “needy,” “Right There,” “Break Your Heart Right Back,” “NASA,” “In My Head,” “The Light Is Coming,” “Into You” and “Dangerous Woman.”

Near the end, she was joined by a special surprise guest: longtime pal Justin Bieber.

“We thought it might be fun to do something for you guys,” Grande said before the pair, who are on Lil Dicky’s new single “Earth,” performed his 2015 hit, “Sorry.”

“I haven’t been on stage in like two years. I came out here I had no idea I was going to be on stage tonight,” Bieber told the crowd. “So anyways this is my first time on stage in two years. I had to get my groove back, my swag back. By the way — album coming soon.”

The singer is only the fourth woman to ever headline Coachella, after Björk (twice, in 2002 and 2007), Lady Gaga (2017) and Beyoncé (2018).
