NBA legend LeBron James has paid tribute to Jurgen Klopp after his announcement that he will leave the club at the end of the season.

With Klopp having surprisingly announced his departure from Anfield after nine years at the club having joined in 2015, the German has received multiple messages all across social media, including one from the American basketball legend, a known Liverpool fan and also a minority owner at the club.
WHAT JAMES SAID
The Los Angeles Lakers star posted on X (formerly Twitter): “THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING AND MORE!! You are one helluva manager and you’ll never be forgotten and more importantly, YOU’LL NEVER WALK ALONE!! The Reds will miss you!”.

The German leaves the club as a legend having won six major trophies at the helm of the club and fighting for countless more trophies. Klopp has effectively completely transformed the Reds from a perennial mid-table side into a major contender in every competition.
WHAT NEXT?
The leadership at Anfield has already started its hunt for Klopp’s successor as the German prepares his side to try and compete for all four remaining trophies this season. Klopp will next be in the dugout for Norwich CIty’s visit to Anfield on Sunday, January 28.
