Devin Booker is having quite the week.
The Phoenix Suns guard was named a West All-Star reserve for the fourth time in his career as the selections were announced Thursday on TNT. The NBA head coaches had until Monday to vote for the reserves.
Earlier Thursday, Booker was named NBA Western Conference Player of the Month for the third time in his career, a franchise record.
Charles Barkley, Steve Nash, Amarβe Stoudemire, Shawn Marion and Kevin Johnson each did it twice. Booker earned his first two for February 2021 and October/November 2022.
The Suns (28-20) went 11-5 in the month of January that saw Booker average 30 points on 53.9% shooting, 6.3 assists and 4.4 rebounds. Booker knocked down 40% of his 3s.
Averaging a career-best 28.3 points this season, Booker had a three-game stretch in the month in which he scored 152 points with a season-best 62 coming in a loss at Indiana.
Booker was named Western Conference Player of the Week on Monday for the ninth time in his career for his play during that three-game stretch.
The Suns play at Atlanta on Friday in the sixth of a season-long seven-game road trip. Phoenix is 3-2 on the trip so far.
