Viewers will recall that Sonny was pretty much a blank slate once he woke up in the snow, after nearly dying-he had his father’s watch, and thought his name was Mike.

With none of his memories intact, Sonny was a totally different person and that’s who Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) fell in love with, not the angry mob boss.

Spencer could be in a similar condition and that might be why he hasn’t returned home to Port Charles and Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali); he may not remember her.

Spencer doesn’t even have as much as Sonny did, his turtledove being shown in a puddle nearby where he must have washed on shore from the Seine.

He definitely survived that fall into the Seine in spite of the drugs Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) who didn’t survive pumped into him, and possibly caused his amnesia.

GH Spoilers – Spencer Cassadine’s Blank Slate May Become A Different Man

Like Sonny in Nixon Falls, Spencer’s blank slate may become a different man, and he won’t remember all the power and privilege he grew up with.

He won’t have the pain of feeling abandoned by his father as a child, although he and Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) had seemed to make amends.

Otherwise, he wouldn’t have given him Ace Prince-Cassadine (Joey and Jay Clay) to care for to keep him away from Esme. If Spencer doesn’t remember himself or anything about his life or his love Trina, he could even have a new girlfriend by the time he’s found alive.

Someone may set out on a search for him, possibly even Trina, since she encouraged Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) to find Dex Heller (Evan Hofer).

General Hospital Spoilers – Or, Memories Wiped?

It’s also a possibility Spencer was found by someone nefarious who wiped his memories-like that hasn’t happened before on GH!

There could be a Cassadine relative who wasn’t thought to be alive-that even Nikolas wouldn’t know about-perhaps Spencer’s grandpa Stavros Cassadine (Robert Kelker-Kelly)? But once Spencer is found, another thing that could happen is that his memories flood in at the sight of Trina.

When Spencer does return after Nicholas Alexander Chavez is finished with his project, it will be an epic reunion! Fans can’t imagine any more problems for the star-crossed lovers ‘Sprina’, it just wouldn’t be fair.
