Reports recently have claimed that Chelsea are stepping up their interest in one player ahead of the summer transfer market this season.
It has been claimed that they have firmly added Atletico Bilbao star Nico Williams to their list of potential players to bring in this summer.
This goes alongside their main target of a new striker, where Victor Osimhen has been reportedly made the number one target for the role.

However, it seems a winger has emerged near the top of their list too, and the fact that they are considering signing another young star in this position is perhaps worrying for some of their current first team stars.
Mykhailo Mudryk has found it very difficult to break into the starting side on a regular basis this season, even when he has previously performed well the week before.
There was no better example of this than when he found himself on the bench for the most recent Premier League game against Brentford.
Williams rumours worrying for Mudryk
While he came off the bench, he was again not given enough time to make an impact.
This followed arguably a player of the match performance in the FA Cup against Leeds, where he was on target for the first time in 2024.
He was featuring in a new-look role in the attack, where he was given far less responsibility as somewhat of a number 10.
The fact that the Ukraine international has not been able to string together consecutive starts this season is already cause for concern.
However, now given the fact reports stating that they are monitoring a new winger closely, it is perhaps tough to imagine a world where this changes anytime soon for Mudryk.
It had been claimed recently that Arsenal were still intrigued by the idea of bringing him in after missing out on signing him in the first place. However, it has since been reported that is unlikely.
