STEP by Step’s Staci Keanan has given Kim Kardashian advice in an exclusive interview with The U.S. Sun after leaving Hollywood to become a big-time Los Angeles attorney.
Kim, 43, revealed she passed the baby bar exam in December 2021 after failing it three times, but has yet to complete the bar exam that will officially make her a lawyer in California.

The U.S. Sun spoke exclusively with actress-turned-lawyer Staci Keanan, who weighed in on the difficulty of passing what’s considered the hardest bar exam in the country.
“The bar is tough. I think it’s changed since I took it,” Staci told The U.S. Sun at That’s 4 Entertainment’s ’90s Con in Hartford, Connecticut, on March 16.
The Step by Step alum believes some of the sections were cut to make it a little shorter since it used to be a “three-day, 18-hour” process.
“Hopefully she’ll have an easier time of it,” Staci, 48, remarked.
“I definitely thought I was going to fail. I struggled so hard in the whole studying process and I’m still amazed that I passed.”
She continued: “So, if I can do it, Kim can do it. Go Kim! You’ll be fine.”
ROOTING FOR KIM
Staci told The U.S. Sun that she does not keep up with the Kardashians, so she can’t speak on Kim’s wits and work ethic.
However, she is rooting for the mom-of-four to achieve the amount of success she has until this day.
“I must say I don’t watch the show, so I can’t say I know her whole personality very well,” Staci said.
“But if she wants it, I hope she gets it. As they say in bar prep, this too shall pass, and so will you.”
After fans watched Kim studying for the bar exam in past episodes of KUWTK, she finally revealed at the end of 2021 that she passed the baby bar exam.
“Looking in the mirror, I am really proud of the woman looking back today in the reflection,” she captioned a series of glam photos.
“For anyone who doesn’t know my law school journey, know this wasn’t easy or handed to me. I failed this exam 3 times in 2 years, but I got back up each time and studied harder and tried again until I did it!!!”
She continued: “In California, the way I’m studying law you need to take 2 bar exams, this was just the first one but with the harder pass rate.
“I was told by top lawyers that this was a close to impossible journey and harder than the traditional law school route, but it was my only option and it feels so so sooooo good to be here and on my way to achieving my goals.”

Adding how it has been an “intense” journey for herself, Staci explained that she went to law school in 2013 and left the industry altogether.
Her last major role was in 2010’s You Again, starring alongside Betty White, Jamie Lee Curtis, Sigourney Weaver and Kristen Bell.
She then went straight into being a prosecutor, which is what she went to law school for at Southwestern Law School.
After being admitted to the State Bar of California in 2013, she worked for the Riverside County District Attorney’s Office on felony cases the following year.
In 2016, she accepted a job at the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office where she’s been ever since.
“So prosecuting basically murder and domestic violence is what I’m handling now,” she dished.
REUNITED AFTER 25 YEARS
At the ’90s Con, which took place March 15 to March 17, Staci reunited with her Step By Step cast, including Patrick Duffy, Angela Watson, Christine Lakin, Brandon Call, Christopher Castile, Sasha Mitchell and Jason Marsden.
The famous sitcom, which starred the late Suzanne Somers, spanned seven seasons and was on air from September 1991 until June 1998.
“It’s been really good to see everybody because I haven’t seen Chris Castile or Brandon Call basically since we wrapped the show.
“I was hoping that it would feel just like no time has passed and that we’ve been together this entire time, and that that is really how it feels,” Staci gushed ahead of reuniting for the Step by Step panel.
In a separate interview, Christine said that she was “not surprised” that Staci is now a lawyer because she “was always so smart and so driven.”
Brandon, for his part, also left Hollywood and is now working in the real estate industry, he told The U.S. Sun.
Meanwhile, co-star Chris revealed that he has been a high school teacher for the past 12 years.
He told The U.S. Sun on the pink carpet: “It’s been 26 years since I’ve seen or talked to anyone. It’s been great seeing everyone.
“Everyone looks the same, just older and grayer and with children.”
