Erik ten Hag warns Marcus Rashford for holding a GLITZY party after Man United’s heavy City defeat ‎

ERIK TEN HAG has told Marcus Rashford it was “unacceptable” to go out partying straight after Sunday’s humiliating derby defeat.

Manchester United’s England forward visited glitzy nightspot Chinawhite after the 3-0 hammering by City.

Rashford has apologised but Ten Hag has called his behaviour ‘unacceptable’

Rash was having a 26th birthday bash with friends and family.

But all the Red Devils were told they had to be in for training on Monday, as their planned day off was cancelled.

Boss Ten Hag revealed: “Yes, I am aware of it. I spoke with him about it.

“It’s unacceptable. I told him, he apologised and that is it. For us, it’s an internal matter.”

Ten Hag, a Dutchman, declined to say whether he had penalized the £300,000-a-week celebrity.

In Wednesday’s Carabao Cup fourth-round match against Newcastle, which holders United also lost 3-0, the manager started Rashford on the bench.

In the 65th minute, Rashford—whose real birthday was the day before—was substituted on, but his dismal season persisted.

He scored a career-high 30 goals the previous season, but he has only scored ONE so far this year.

United has suffered their worst run since 1962 after losing eight of their first 15 games across all competitions.

Ten Hag maintained that the striker’s exclusion from the starting lineup against the Toon was a squad rotation meant to provide him with a rest rather than a disciplinary measure.

And he believes Rashford is trying his hardest to turn things around.

The Dutch boss added: “He’s fitting in, he’s very motivated to put things right.

“I know how much effort he is putting in. He’s totally with us. I see him every day in training.

“So he makes one mistake but also off the pitch, what he is doing, how he lives.

“I’m sure he is doing everything right to help the team, to perform and to let us win.”

On Friday, Rashford was once more seen as a substitute.

This time, it was while he and his teammates were waiting for a train to London in advance of the match against Fulham on the platform at Stockport station.
