And Britney Spears proved she still had the body to pull off a very similar look when she arrived to the MTV Video Music Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday.
The mother-of-two, 42, looked amazing in a skin-tight sequin mini dress that flashed her waistline and cleavage.

Britney’s daring dress was strategically cut to draw attention towards her perfectly flat stomach.
The photogenic star slicked her blonde locks up into a tight pony tail, and finished off her ‘do with a few playful strands of light blue hair.
Full lashes flattered her honey hazel eyes, as did a matching shade of earth hued eye shadow.

The Perfume songbird elevated her sizzling look with a pair of strappy gold heels, while going easy on the jewellery with her sparkling pyramid dagger earrings by ESTABLISHED.
Britney, who presented the award for Best Male Video that night, looked picture perfect as she posed for the cameras.
In 2004, Britney pushed the envelope when she danced nearly nude in a glittering outfit in the music video for Toxic.

At the time, the music video’s director Joseph Kahn told MTV of the look, ‘That’s just her naked with diamonds on…I’m not sure what I was thinking about when she told me about that scene, maybe those intros to James Bond movies, but every video needs an iconic image to remember, and that’s it.’
Nowadays, Britney has remained busy with a Las Vegas residency at The Axis at Planet Hollywood, which will end December 31 after 133 concerts.
‘I’m not really sure [I’ll renew my contract],’ Britney recently told E! News.
‘I haven’t made up my mind. I really love doing the show. It’s a lot, a lot of fun but I’m kind of torn right now. I don’t really know what I want to do.’
The Grammy winner has also been recording music for her upcoming ninth studio album.
