The fitted style clung to Margot’s curves, with the actress pairing her outfit with gold Christian Louboutin stilettos.

The Australian-born beauty also wore a gold layered necklace from Tiffany & Co. worth $22,000.

Keeping her makeup simple, Margot wore her blonde locks styled into a sleek bob, and her nails were painted in a hue that matched her outfit.

Margot is in New York promoting her new film Goodbye Christopher Robin, which tells the story of Winnie The Pooh author A.A. Milne.

She has also been discussing her forthcoming flick I, Tonya, in which Margot plays disgraced former ice skater Tonya Harding.

In an interview with W magazine, Margot raised eyebrows when she claimed to be ‘100 per cent’ behind the controversial sports figure.

In 1994, Tonya was slapped with a lifetime skating ban after it was revealed she and her boyfriend had hired a man to break rival Nancy Kerrigan’s leg.

‘The more I became Tonya, the more I saw things from her point of view. I’m on her side 100 percent,’ she said.

But speaking to Good Morning America on Wednesday Margot clarified her comments, arguing she had only meant she understood her.

She explained: ‘But because I play Tonya I’m like 100 per cent on her side the way I’m 100 per cent on Queen Elizabeth’s side and Harley’s side and Daphne’s side. You have to believe what they’re saying is the absolute truth to delivers it with conviction.’
