In August, the billionaire spent $68 million to buy a riverside villa in Indian Creek, Miami. Two months later, he spent another 79 million USD on the villa next door.
It’s not the first time Bezos has spent huge amounts of money on real estate.

On this plot of land, his family lives in a villa of 24,000 square meters with 6 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms and a listed price of 53 million USD. Jeff Bezos’s neighbors in the area include Bill Gates as well as many other technology and media entrepreneurs.
A few months after the divorce in 2019, Bezos spent $45 million to buy 4 properties in another bustling area of Medina. The most expensive property in this spending spree is worth $37.5 million in Hunts Point, a neighborhood with fewer than 400 residents.

Own a series of apartments in New York
The first major purchase in New York was the purchase of three apartments for $7.65 million in Manhattan. These apartments are located in The Century building, purchased in 1999 from former Sony Music executive Tommy Mottola. In 2012, Jeff Bezos bought another apartment in the building, worth $5.3 million.

His next major real estate investment was a large valley of nearly 67,000 hectares near the town of Van Horn, Texas in 2004. Bezos spent millions of dollars to renovate the land. This place is mainly used as the headquarters of aerospace company Blue Origin.

California’s largest real estate deal
Bezos also owns many expensive real estate in Beverly Hills, California, and Los Angeles.
He once made the largest transaction in California real estate history when he bought a villa for $165 million from billionaire David Geffen. David Gaffen bought this mansion in 1990 for $47.5 million. The mansion includes a tennis court, swimming pool and a 9-hole golf course.

In 2021, Bezos and his girlfriend Lauren Sanchez bought a house in Hawaii. According to The New York Times, Bezos paid about $78 million for this house.
