On December 11 and 12, 4 BTS members , RM, Jungkook, V and Jimin, joined the army according to regulations. To say goodbye to fans, each person had different ways.
They did a livestream to say hello directly, and at the same time, some members decided to release new music products as gifts for fans. Typically, youngest brother Jungkook released the song “Hate You” a few days before leaving for the army.
On December 21, BigHit Music announced that Jimin will release a new digital single titled “Closer Than This”.
According to BigHit Music, “Closer Than This” is a heartfelt song for fans, encapsulating Jimin’s feelings for ARMY (BTS fandom name).
“As we approach the final days of 2023, we hope that Closer Than This, with its lyrics conveying Jimin’s love and affection for his fans, will bring you hope. hope and warmth,” the company shared.
“Closer Than This” will be released on the afternoon of December 22.
