Tyson Fury has been snapped looking in great shape ahead of his blockbuster bout with Oleksandr Usyk.

The Gypsy King will lock horns with his Ukrainian opponent in Saudi Arabia on February 17, with the fight previously due to take place on December 23.

A delay was enforced, however, after Fury was left bruised following his victory over Francis Ngannou at the end of October.

Fury is currently training ahead of his clash with Usyk, knowing victory will cement his place as one of the best heavyweight boxers of all time.

And Fury has now been snapped looking in great shape ahead of the bout.

Many felt he looked too slow and sluggish during his victory over Ngannou, with his own father admitting he’s noticed a ‘decline’ in his son.

But Fury looks leaner than ever before in a snap uploaded by Thomas Carty.

Carty and Moses Itauma have been sparring with Fury as his fight with Usyk creeps closer.

And the two men posed for the camera, along with the Gypsy King, with a boxing bag in the background.

Fury’s physique is something often talked about, with the 35-year-old even describing himself as ‘fat’ in the past.

“I am fat now,” he said recently.

“I was fat as a baby and I will be fat on my deathbed. We’re all fat.

“Hughie is fat, Shane’s fat, my dad’s fat, and even my mum’s fat.

“I hope she’s not watching this. But, we’re a fat family.”

Fury has, however, previously expressed a belief that his ‘love handles’ give him an advantage over the rest of the competition.

“I actually embrace being fat because my love handles separate me from the rest of the world, ever in history,” said the Briton.

“There’s never been anyone like me and there never will be.

“That’s what makes me so tough and that’s what makes me, me.

“If you said to me, ‘Right Tyson, we will give you the opportunity to get rid of the fat on you, and we will give you a full six-pack,’ I wouldn’t take it because that’s not me.”

Meanwhile, with Anthony Joshua in action this weekend, many fans still hope to see Fury fight his countryman one day.

Rumours of the two facing each other have gone on for several years.

But Fury’s father, John, recently said he doesn’t expect that showdown to ever materialise.

He told Boxing Social: “No, I think that one’s flew. That bird’s flew.

“That boat’s sailed. Unless AJ keeps winning, he gets past Wallin, he beats Wilder, Tyson is undisputed champion.

“Guess what? Game on. The biggest fight ever to grace a TV screen.

“It’s the stuff dreams are made of isn’t it?

“I would love nothing better. I think that will never ever be equalled.”
