The tale of Serena Williams and her loving spouse Alexis Ohanian is rather intriguing. The tennis star previously revealed that when they first met, she didn’t feel very fond of him. The fact that he was simply sitting at a table too close to her at a Rome hotel irritated her.
In an interview with Vanity Fair, Serena recalled: “I’m like, ‘Huh!’ This gigantic guy (he’s like 1.95 meters tall) enters and he just plops down at the table next to us. How come he’s sitting here with all these tables?
Serena and her friends tried to get rid of the “big guy” saying that they saw a rat by his table, but he brilliantly replied: “I’m from Brooklyn. I see rats all the time.”
Then things went in the right direction and they started to date after Serena invited Alexis to see her playing the Roland Garros.
