That petition gained 44,893 supporters out of a 45,000 goal, but still struck its intended blow: last month, the UN revoked Wonder Woman’s ambassadorship.

‘When people argue that Wonder Woman should “cover up,” I don’t quite get it,’ Gadot fumed to Time in the wake of the decision.

‘They say: “If she’s smart and strong, she can’t also be 𝑠e𝑥y.” That’s not fair,’ insisted the former Israel Defence Forces soldier. ‘Why can’t she be all of the above?’
