On Thursday, Hathaway, 41, and husband Adam Shulman arrived at the National Board of Review Gala in New York City. Hathaway wore a Giorgio Armani Fall/Winter 2023 black embroidered strapless gown that features a deep sweetheart décolletage. She donned a black blazer draped across her shoulders to keep out the cold.

Her glam included a blush pink eyeshadow look that matched her peachy lipstick, while her dark brunette hair was styled in loose waves. She finished off her look with diamond drop earrings, a set of diamond bangles, a dainty silver ring and a pair of black leather pointed heels.

The Devil Wears Prada star presented an award at the ceremony, which rewards the best films of the past year as decided by an exclusive group of film enthusiasts, filmmakers, professionals and academics.

Hathaway last appeared on a red carpet at the 2023 Fashion Awards in December wearing a vintage Valentino couture gown, where she narrowly escaped a wardrobe hiccup in a checkered floor-length coat layered over her white dress.

At November’s CFDA Awards, which she hosted, the actress sparkled in Bulgari jewelry as she wore an all-blue denim corset and dress from the spring/summer 2024 Ralph Lauren runway. Washed-out watercolor floral prints adorned the full-length skirt.

In the last year, Hathaway has starred in some of the film industry’s best fashion moments. The Hollywood Reporter credits her “fashion renaissance” to her stylist, Erin Walsh, a former Vogue employee who also dresses the likes of Sarah Jessica Parker and Ashley Park.

Among the honorees at this year’s gala are Martin Scorsese’s Killers of the Flower Moon for best film and director, as well as best actress for Lily Gladstone. The Holdovers stars Paul Giamatti and Da’Vine Joy Randolph will take home best actor and best supporting actress, while Mark Ruffalo will receive best supporting actor for Poor Things.
