Blackpink’s Jisoo has achieved good results as a solo artist on top global music platforms.According to Korean media, Jisoo’s “Flower” has won the title of most viewed music video by a K-pop artist in 2023.
In addition to this achievement, the song also skyrocketed in streaming numbers, rivaling other famous international female singers. Thanks to that, “Flower” has excellently entered the Top 5 most viewed MVs of the year by female artists on YouTube.
With an impressive number of 410 million views, Flower surpassed Shakira’s Waka Waka with 346 million views.
The song is getting closer to equaling Rema’s “Calm Down” featuring Selena Gomez, which currently has 475 million views.
Although the top three spots are currently occupied by Miley Cyrus’s “Flowers” (606 million), Shakira’s “Music Sessions 53” featuring Bizarrap (633 million) and Karol G’s “TQG” featuring Shakira (819 million).
But the stability and continued growth of Jisoo’s streaming figures shows that the potential to compete with these numbers in the near future is high.
