Lee Min Ho, Ahn Hyo Seop, Nana and Jisoo (BlackPink) confirmed to star in the movie “Omniscient Reader”. The producer behind the project once made a splash with the series “Along with the Gods”.

Adapted from a webtoon of the same name, the work is set in a new worldview, where a fantasy novel full of monsters has become reality. The film’s content revolves around the main character Kim Dok Ja (played by Ahn Hyo Seop), the only reader who knows the real outcome and tries to turn the situation away from the exact same development in the novel he read. Kim Dok Ja cooperates with Yoo Joo Hyuk ( played by Lee Min Ho ), the main character in the novel, to save the world.

Webtoon Omniscience has so far surpassed 200 million views when released on the Naver series in 2018. The series received great popularity abroad and was adapted into a movie.
