Chelsea have been without a lot of their players of late, including Christopher Nkunku and Romeo Lavia.
Christopher Nkunku and Romeo Lavia have both missed most of the season so far because of injury, with the latter only managing to make one appearance so far.
And according to DH Les Sports, Chelsea do not even have a fixed return date for the midfielder.
The outlet claims that Lavia is not even training with the group right now, so it could be a while before Chelsea supporters see him in a blue shirt again.
He was signed from Southampton last summer in an initial £53m deal (BBC Sport).

It is probably a good idea for Chelsea not to rush Lavia back. At this stage, it may just be best for the 20-year-old to write this season off and just concentrate on getting fully fit again.
From Mauricio Pochettino‘s perspective, he should be able to survive. The Argentine still has the likes of Enzo Fernandez, Moises Caicedo and Conor Gallagher for his midfield, while Cesare Casadei was recently recalled from his loan spell at Leicester City to boost Chelsea’s numbers in that area of the pitch.
The Italian’s return to Stamford Bridge was a development that surprised Leicester manager Enzo Maresca. However, with all of the injury problems the Blues have had this season, you can understand why the decision was made.
With Lavia set to remain on the sidelines for a little bit longer, there very well could be some opportunities for Casadei in the coming weeks.
At 20 years of age, Lavia is still so young. He could go on to have a great career at Chelsea. However, the former Southampton man’s spell in west London so far has just not gone well.
