Ifrit Jambe can destroy Hell’s darkness, but it cannot knockout the King of Hell.
Roronoa Zoro and Vinsmoke Sanji are one of the strongest characters in One Piece. They are close allies of Monkey D. Luffy. While Zoro was the first mate of the Straw Hat Pirates, Sanji joined as a cook. Both of them had dreams when they joined the crew. They are often seen fighting together, but when it comes to defending the honor of their captain, they become the best tag team partners.
Over the years, both have developed new abilities and have fought strong foes. Currently, both of them are above one billion berries, but Zoro was always in the lead when it came it came to bounty. It has often given rise to the question of whether Roronoa Zoro is more powerful than Sanji and whether he can withstand his strongest attack head-on.
Roronoa Zoro’s Resolve Would Allow Him To Take Sanji’s Strongest Attack Head On
Roronoa Zoro – King of Hell
Vinsmoke Sanji has several powerful attacks. But during the Wano arc, something special happened to him, and he broke his limit and reached an even higher level. His father, Vinsmoke Judge, is the leader of Germa 66, and he experimented on all of his children. While others developed a thick exoskeleton, more strength, and durability, Sanji was deemed a failure.
During his battle against one of the All-Stars of Beast Pirates, his Germa powers kicked him. His broken bones healed, and he could survive strong knocks due to a harder exoskeleton. He upped his game by producing more powerful flames than the Diable Jambe. Due to the high temperatures, the flames turned blue. The technique came to be known as Ifrit Jambe.
Vinsmoke Sanji
Ifrit Jambe is his most potent ability, and it has several varieties. If Roronoa Zoro takes his head on, he would incur damages but not get knocked out. The blue flames could light up Hell, but Zoro is considered the King of Hell. When his swords are involved, he can survive the attack. But using only his body might lead to ‘Nothing Happened’ Part 2.
How Can Roronoa Zoro Survive Ifrit Jambe?
Ifrit Jambe
Whether the swords are involved or not, Zoro would need to give his all to survive Ifrit Jambe. He may have a higher bounty, but there is no way he would come out unscathed when being attacked by one of the Monster Trio’s strong attacks. With the swords, Zoro will have a better chance at survival since all of his swords are special.
Enma and Wado Ichimonji are special-grade swords, and they could be a game changer for the swordsman. Without the sword, he would need to coat himself in Haki. He has shown glimpses of Haoshoku Haki, which could potentially help him against Ifrit Jambe’s hell-bending attacks. On the other hand, Sanji would come at him with a killing intent giving him a higher edge in attack.
Zoro vs Sanji
During their occasional fights, Sanji often uses Diable Jambe, so Zoro has somewhat have an idea about his attacks. The latter also trains harder than anyone with barbells and dumbbells with greater weight than his. He has survived several powerful attacks in the past, so his resolve not to lose another fight will let him go through Ifrit Jambe.
When the question of survival arises, he may do so with ease, but when he becomes uninjured, Roronoa Zoro would never pass the test while facing Ifrit Jambe. Ifrit Jambe, is without a doubt, Sanji’s most powerful attack, but it won’t be enough to knock Zoro over. Even Monkey D. Luffy’s fatigue and pain could not knock him over while he was at his weakest.
