Tom Cruise looked more handsome than ever as he attended the photocall for Top Gun: Maverick at the Cannes Film Festival.

The movie star, 59, posed alongside Jennifer Connelly for photos, wearing a tailored navy blue suit over a white shirt, with the pair sharing a tender moment during the event as she adjusted his suit for the photos.

His hair was artfully tousled and he carried a pair of aviator style sunglasses, similar to those he sports in the iconic film.

The 51-year-old plays Penny Benjamin in the action movie which follows a group of young pilots.

The sequel to Tony Scott’s classic 1986 blockbuster has been unanimously praised in early reviews with one even declaring that it ‘improves upon the original in every conceivable way.’
