Forbes has released its latest big money list. This one: Highest-Earning Actresses.
And topping the list is everyone’s favorite star: Sandra Bullock.
The Top 5:
1. Sandra Bullock
Gravity helped her pocket an estimated $51 million, putting her far ahead of the pack
2. Jennifer Lawrence, $34 million
Hunger Games = $$$.
3. Jennifer Aniston, $31 million
We’re The Millers did well for the actress.
4. Gwyneth Paltrow, $19 million
Her Goop newsletter is good, but Iron Man 3 really paid off.
5. Angelina Jolie and Cameron Diaz (Tied), $18 million
Malificent brought money for Jolie. And while critics bashed The Other Women, moviegoers showed up to see Diaz.
Methodology: To come up with earnings estimates Forbes talked to agents, producers, lawyers and show biz insiders to determine how much each celey earned from entertainment-related work during 12-month time period of June 2013 to June 2014.
But note: Forbes says women are still earning less than men in Hollywood.
Robert Downey Jr. topped the men’s list with a $75 milllion payday for the last year. And in total, top earning actors brought in a combined $419 million, while the top ten actresses brought in just a little over half of that — $226 million.
