The whole world only knows about Elon Musk, but without this woman, we don't know where Tesla will go: Standing behind the historic agreement between car manufacturers, so secretive that even the news hunters 'give up'

While the face of Tesla almost revolves around billionaire and CEO Elon Musk is showing clear signs of decline, behind him are silent people trying to bring Tesla up.

Time magazine (or TIME) is one of the oldest and most prestigious magazines in the world. Headquartered in New York, USA, Time was founded in March 1923 and is one of the most respected traditional news sources in the world.

One of Time’s most anticipated annual articles every year is Time 100 – a list of the 100 most influential people in the world in the most recent year. The most recent Time 100 list choosing a climate theme honored a leader from Tesla, but it was not Elon Musk.

Instead, the American magazine honored Ms. Rebecca Tinucci – senior director in charge of Tesla’s charging infrastructure. Even for many people who regularly follow information about Tesla, this is not a familiar name. Even the leader of Tesla is so “mysterious” that Time did not/could not contact her to get a photo of her to accompany the Time 100 list.

ACHIEVEMENTS ARE HARD TO ACHIEVE THE SECOND TIME2023 is the year that Tesla dives into the sales race thanks to price reduction campaigns as well as starting to sell a scandalous car model, the Cybertruck. At the same time, Tinucci laid the foundation for the biggest achievement the American car company achieved in a year, even a decade.

Specifically, she is the person behind the successful agreement between Tesla and a series of other major brands present in the US. By successfully convincing BMW, Ford, GM, Honda, Hyundai, Mercedes-Benz, Nissan and Toyota to switch to the NACS charging port interface, Tinucci is considered to have made Tesla’s charging standard a North American standard.

In addition to economic significance (other brand car owners now charge with Tesla stations), this agreement also directly turns Tesla into the name “holding the handle” for the charging infrastructure platform in the region. They will also have access to many government incentives for the extremely important position mentioned above.

Without the above agreement, Ms. Rebecca Tinucci’s silent contributions would probably not be known. Mentioning Tesla often means referring to Elon Musk alone and this is definitely a gamble that is tilting towards losing. Too many rumors are increasingly appearing about the American billionaire, such as accusations of using drugs or his frequent “vulgar” statements.

HAS BEEN IN TESLA FOR 6 YEARS BUT RARELY APPEARSBesides being the senior director in charge of Tesla’s charging infrastructure, there is not much information about Tesla’s female leader. Only when accessing her Linked In profile is a small amount of information revealed. She joined Tesla in 2018 as senior product manager, then senior program manager also in 2018 and technical program manager from 2018 to 2020.

From the above timeline onwards, Rebecca Tinucci moved completely to the charging segment with the position of senior director, director of charging infrastructure and finally senior director of charging infrastructure as it is now.
