Lewis Hamilton and Michael Schumacher are currently tied on seven F1 world championships.
More than a month ago, it was revealed that Lewis Hamilton would be joining Ferrari from the next season onwards. Moreover, this announcement was interpreted as the Brit’s last attempt at the elusive eighth title. However, soon after this, it was speculated that Michael Schumacher would have not liked any other driver to win the eighth title at Maranello. However, former Ferrari driver, Giancarlo Fisichella, has disagreed with the speculations regarding the two.
Michael Schumacher and Lewis Hamilton are the two of the biggest names in F1. These names carry a huge legacy and are currently tied on seven world championships each. Moreover, another legacy for the latter is to win a driver’s title with Ferrari. Hamilton is yet to achieve this feat and thus, has recently taken the first step by joining the Maranello-based team.
Following this, Giancarlo Fisichella has clarified that the Schumacher would be happy to see the Englishman breaking the joint record at the Scuderia.

Fisichella, being a former Ferrari driver and three-time race winner, has experienced how things are done on the Italian team. While banking on his experience, he has shared a heartwarming message to the Brit as to what he can expect when he joins in 2025.

In an interview, Fisichella gave a preview of how Hamilton might feel at Maranello next year.

The 51-year-old has stated that Ferrari is an incredible and highly passionate team. Moreover, indicated that Hamilton would feel the warmth of the fans and the team at his new home in Maranello.
Apart from this, the 39-year-old is currently focused on doing a strong season with the Brackley-based Mercedes F1 team. Subsequently, he would like to make his last dance with the German outfit a little sweeter before joining Ferrari.
