Taking Sonny Down Means Anna Will Go Against Robin — Can She Do It?

General Hospital spoilers spill Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) has been a pivotal figure in Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) life. While they’ve never been on the same side of the law, Anna isn’t unfamiliar with breaking code to get the job done.

She’s certainly never been one to strictly go by the book when she was working for the DVX or the WSB. But now she’s the Police Commissioner of Port Charles once again, and she’s taking her new title seriously after the fallout she suffered from her past as a double agent being exposed.

Holding herself accountable, she thinks she’s ready to go after Sonny, even though it means attacking the one person who was there for her daughter — Robin Scorpio Drake (Kimberley McCullough) — when Michael ‘Stone’ Cates (Michael Sutton) died and Anna was nowhere to be found.

Years later, Anna still struggles with being absent when her daughter needed her most. Can she really stomach going after Sonny, knowing what he means to Robin?

General Hospital Spoilers — Dex Heller Makes It Easy

The simplest part of this plan will be putting Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) to work. He is more than eager to infiltrate Sonny’s organization all over again. Of course, that doesn’t mean it’ll be simple for him to be granted access to it. Sonny doesn’t trust Dex.

He doesn’t even trust his own son, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), since learning of his entanglement with hiring Dex to ruin him. But if Anna leaves it up to Dex, he’ll get the job done.

GH Spoilers – Claim Jagger Cates Reels Anna Devane In

Federal Agent John ‘Jagger’ Cates (Adam Harrington) clearly has his own agenda, and now that Anna is aware of it, she’ll have a much harder time reconciling the way she’s feeling about Sonny.

Days ago, she was ready to unleash years of well-earned charges against the mob boss. Now, she’s going to be furious with Jagger for pulling her into this web of lies and playing her for a fool.

Will she play along to take Jagger down in the process of letting him think they’re going to take Sonny down together? Can Anna manage to pull that off — even as a ruse — while her daughter begs her to back off?

General Hospital Spoilers — Robin Scorpio DrakeComes Home

When Robin gets wind that Jason is home and alive, she won’t hesitate to jump on a plane and head straight to Port Charles. Having no idea what to expect when she lands, she’s bound to be caught off guard seeing not just Jason but Jagger, too.

For whatever reason, her mom hadn’t looped her in. When she realizes that Anna is working with Jagger to take Sonny down, she isn’t going to stand for it.

But Anna will have to keep up appearances and trust that her daughter will forgive her someday and understand why she couldn’t tell her the truth.

Will she buckle under pressure and blow her own cover? Keep checking back with us for more GH news and spoilers to find out.
