Nina’s Big Mouth Could Be What Seals The Deal With A Desperate Drew

General Hospital (GH) spoilers squeal Nina Reeves Corinthos (Cynthia Watros) was practically salivating over the sight of Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) answering the hotel room door with Special Agent John ‘Jagger’ Cates (Adam Harrington) lingering in the background in nothing but a towel.

She couldn’t wait to run to her newest and nearest ally, Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), with the news that Carly had already moved on from him — and with such an unsuspecting and awful choice in men to move on with.

Why would Carly hooked up with the guy who was trying to take Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) down? Certainly, Sonny’s place is Nina’s next stop, but will Drew, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner), and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) try to put her in her place and prevent that?

General Hospital Spoilers — Eager Beaver

It won’t be lost on Michael, Drew, or Curtis that Nina was practically drooling over coming into this information.

However by accident, and careless as it seems for Carly to be cavorting in Nina’s hotel, Nina will see this as not her fault.

She can’t be blamed for sticking her nose into Carly’s business if Carly literally opened the door to it for her, can she? Well, sort of. The last thing Nina had to do was then carry that water back to the office water cooler to share with Drew.

After all, it’s no longer any of his business who Carly spends her time with — and it certainly isn’t Nina’s business. But she just can’t seem to let her interest in Carly go.

GH Spoilers – Hint Michael Corinthos Rationalizes

Michael isn’t going to stand for Nina disparaging his mother, although she’s a consenting adult who can do whatever she wants in her private time.

The way Michael sees it, if Carly is shacking up with Jagger, that’s her prerogative — even if it makes no sense to him, personally.

Michael’s attempt to spin this and make it sound like Nina doesn’t know what she’s talking about may suffice in the moment, but when he leaves the room, Nina’s words will have a stronger impact than Michael’s do on Drew.

General Hospital Spoilers — Drew Cain Takes The Bait

Drew won’t be happy with the realization that Carly has already moved on. But at the same time, can he blame her? Didn’t he just do the same by hooking up with Nina — who happens to be Carly’s arch nemesis?

Surely, he looks worse than his ex does right now. Still, Drew’s feelings are going to get the best of him, and he won’t be able to think rationally about this.

He’ll still see Nina’s motive in this as a ploy to get him on board with sticking it to Carly, but it may feel good enough for him to do that that he finally accepts Nina’s terms. Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers to see how this shakes out.
