‘How about you stop being a b**** and let’s make the fight you f***ing weird guy’: Anthony Joshua and Dillian Whyte trade barbs online after AJ claims he has ‘no knowledge’ of any talks going on about a rematch with the Bodysnatcher

Anthony Joshua and Dillian Whyte have traded barbs online after the former claimed he had ‘no knowledge’ of any talks going on about a fight with the Bodysnatcher despite his promoter Eddie Hearn suggesting otherwise.

Hearn came out on Friday and revealed that he had ‘presented offers to Whyte’ for a rematch with AJ in August.

However, Joshua denies knowing anything about it. In a series of bizarre now-deleted messages uploaded to his Instagram story, Joshua said: ‘I don’t know about any talks to fight Dillian Whyte.’

He then finished off his statement with an adapted lyric from Stormzy’s hit single WickedSkengMan 4: ‘Everyday, AJ this, AJ that, AJ’s hairline’s going way back, but I’ll still f*** your girl, go retweet that.’

Joshua went on to quickly follow up his first post with a second featuring a clip from  the grime artist’s WickedSkengMan 4 music video, with the caption: ‘AJ’s this, AJ’s that. AJ says: F*** off.’

Whyte was not impressed by Joshua’s comments and let it be known

Upon seeing Joshua’s response to Hearn’s comments, Whyte fired back with a foul-mouthed onslaught of his own. ‘How about you stop being a b**** and let’s make the fight you f***ing weird guy always talking s*** tweeting stuff then deleting be a man you little b**** @anthonyjoshua,’ he tweeted.

Joshua and Whyte were expected to face each other back in April for the Watford powerhouse’s first fight since suffering consecutive losses to Oleksandr Usyk.

But AJ’s team instead opted to go with the man Whyte had beaten in his previous encounter, Jermaine Franklin.

Joshua comfortably beat the American over the distance and is now planning to box again in two month’s time.

It is understood that Joshua will take to the ring next on August 12 at either the O2 Arena or a London stadium, probably Wembley, with Whyte being the most likely opponent.

After which, there is talk of a blockbuster showdown against Deontay Wilder over in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Hearn recently affirmed that terms are ‘pretty much in place’ for the Wilder fight and that it is just a case of waiting for the Saudis to make a formal offer.
