Kendall Jenner revealed she’s had a ‘tough two months’ as she detailed her 20 year anxiety battle in a candid new interview.
The model, 28, opened up about her ongoing anxiety battle and the unique way she’s tackling mental health anguish in a new shoot with Vogue.
Kendall oozed confidence in a slew of stunning snaps for Vogue’s Summer 2024 issue, but admitted in reality, she has been ‘more sad’ than usual.
She explained: ‘I don’t see why I shouldn’t be honest about it. In my career right now I feel really stable, really hopeful. But I’ve had a tough two months.
‘I haven’t been myself, and my friends see it. I’m more sad than usual. I’m way more anxious than usual. So I’m not going to sit here and act like everything’s perfect. That’s life—I’m always going to be in and out of those feelings.’

‘In past interviews, when someone’s asked me about my mental state, it’s always been, “I’m great right now, but this is what I’ve dealt with.” Well, right now I’m actually in it.’
She went on to share: ‘For me, getting out of bed in the morning and putting one foot in front of the other is so helpful for me. Moving, getting my blood flowing.
‘When I say I’m struggling right now, I’m not doing those helpful things. Choosing to sit in my bed and mope all day is setting myself up for failure.’
The supermodel has been an advocate for mental health and has been very open about her struggles with anxiety on Keeping Up With The Kardashians and her social media platforms for several years.
Along with depression, anxiety is among the most common mental-health condition in the UK, affecting 8.2million people in 2013 alone.
Around 40million adults suffer from the condition in the US every year.
Kendall’s main goal when discussing how anxiety has affected her life is to help de-stigmatize the negative correlation mental health issues and anxiety have in the world.
The model has been balancing her modeling career as well as launching her own business, 818 Tequila.
But despite all of her recent success, Kendall said: ‘I do have that impostor syndrome of, like, Wait, this is all happening to me? What did I do to deserve it?’

As the only Kardashian sister without children, Kendall Jenner has spoken out about feeling pressured to settle down by her family in the past.
But the model, 28, who thought she would have kids by 27, admitted there is no rush as she’s still ‘so young’ and enjoying her ‘kidless freedom’.
Kendall is currently single after her split from Bad Bunny in December, following a year of dating.
Meanwhile, her sisters – Kim, Kourtney, Khloé and Kylie – have 13 children between them, ranging from four months old to 14 years old.
During a stunning new photoshoot with Vogue, Kendall explained: ‘There are days when I look at what they have and think, That’s really special. I do like being a little bit removed, but one day I’ll make my way, probably.
‘When I was young I used to say that by 27 I’d love to have kids. Now I’m past that and I feel like I’m still so young. I’m enjoying my kidless freedom.’
It comes just days after Kendall attended the star-studded Met Gala in New York City.
Kendall has come under fire from online fashionistas over her claim that she was the ‘first human’ to wear her 1999 Givenchy by Alexander McQueen gown Met Gala gown.
Kardashian naysayers were then quick to point out that actress Winona Ryder had worn the dress in a 1999 pictorial for Flaunt magazine.

‘What a scam, turns out Kendall Jenner is not the first person to wear this Givenchy by McQueen gown!’ raged one fashion fan on X.
‘Not sure why Kendall said she’s the first person to wear it, she may not have known it was worn before unless Winona’s version isn’t the original,’ wrote another.
The supermodel donned the vintage garment at Monday’s Met Gala and boasted about being the first person to ever wear it during a red carpet interview with Vogue.
‘This is Givenchy, it’s archival McQueen from 1999,’ she explained to La La Anthony.
‘I am so, so incredibly honored to wear it. I’m the first human to wear it. It showed on a mannequin,’ she continued.
‘It was a miracle that it fit, it was a miracle that we found it and it just feels meant to be and I’m so happy.’
While some fans online suggested that Jenner may be wearing a replica of the original dress, the model seemed to imply that it was the original frock.
‘The chances that they had it available was really slim and the chances that it fit me were also pretty slim, and I couldn’t do any tailoring, I couldn’t do anything, and it just fit perfectly,’ she gushed.
However, one fan suggested that it may have been Winona who wore a replica, not Jenner.

‘If Winona’s is a custom replica that’s insane because the amount of beading and work it would have taken,’ they wrote.
Givenchy has backed Jenner’s comments up, releasing an official statement declaring that the reality star is indeed the first person to wear the archival garment.
‘Look 14 HC FW99 was not worn in the past, and was only presented on a bust form,’ the luxury fashion house said.
‘Since then, the dress has been preserved in the Givenchy Archives until the MET Gala. It has never presented before, and it will go back to the Givenchy Archives.’
They added, ‘500 hours were required to hand-embroider the dress, with more than 100,000 beads and sequins.’
