Jey Uso gives his verdict on reuniting with Roman Reigns and brother Jimmy for brewing Bloodline Civil War… as the WWE star opens up on learning from The Rock in his latest run

WWE star Jey Uso has opened up on potentially reuniting with Roman Reigns and brother Jimmy Uso for a Bloodline Civial War that appears to be brewing.

Jey has played a vital role in the successful Bloodline story which has been the focal point of the company for a number of years, ranging from family battles to Reigns’ multi-year title reign.

At WrestleMania, a chapter appeared to close when the Uso brothers faced off and Reigns lost his title, with Solo Sikoa since taking charge and adding Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa to the faction.

Fans have been intrigued as to what is next for the group, with Reigns and Jimmy out of action but returning down the line, and rumours have surfaced that a reunion between the original Bloodline of Reigns and The Usos could be on the horizon as a babyface – or good – group.

Uso, speaking exclusively to Mail Sport during WWE’s tour of the UK, gave his view on the potential storyline, and admitted he would be open to a family reunion.

The Usos were a tag team for a number of years but split last year when Jimmy attacked Jey

They could soon reunite alongside Roman Reigns to form a babyface stable, Uso claimed

‘I’m glad I’m not on Fridays no more,’ Uso joked, referring to SmackDown being the home of The Bloodline as he appears on RAW. ‘It’s so much family drama. I’m just tired. I’d rather just get a new family.

‘Family fight all the time. My answer would be yeah, I would like to run a babyface Bloodline back, let alone against Solo Sikoa, and now it’s Tama Tonga and whoever else he wants to bring in. But I think the people would really dig seeing a civil war.

‘There are so many other family members that people don’t even know about yet. They’re just waiting to kick the door in. We’ve got cousins who are 10 years old. We’ll be running WWE for another 50 years.’

The last fans saw of Reigns was at WrestleMania, where he teamed with The Rock in the main event of night one before losing his title to Rhodes on night two.

The Rock turned heel – bad – upon his return to WWE earlier this year, and is now away with Hollywood but has pledged to return and go after the WWE Championship.

He received widespread plaudits for his work, and Uso revealed that the WWE talent appreciated his presence just as much as the fans.

‘It was cool,’ he said. ‘Just being around him, seeing how much of a huge star is in front of the people out there, in front of a live crowd, that’s a different energy.

‘I thought I bought the energy. But I’m always learning or just trying to take bits from him. Ball it up and make it your own. I want to get to that level for sure.’
