Alexis’ Law License Could Be Reinstated, But That Doesn’t Mean She’ll Hang Onto It

General Hospital spoilers reveal Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) has thirty days until she learns the fate of her trial. Will she regain the right to practice law, and if so, what will that mean for her future?

Given Alexis’ track record, the fans are already doubting that she’s going to get the chance to skate into the future and live out her years happily ever after.

It seems that reality always comes crashing down upon Alexis. So we have to wonder — will being reinstated to the bar signal a bright future for Alexis, or is it just the upswing on the rollercoaster that is sure to bring her back down?

General Hospital Spoilers — One More Month

Alexis didn’t seem to flinch when the board relayed that they would deliver their answer to her petition for reinstatement to the bar in thirty days.

Perhaps her esteemed colleague and attorney Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) already made her aware of the waiting period, but we can’t imagine she’s going to take it well.

Alexis was so keyed up when preparing for this hearing that she nearly backed out of it at the last minute.

So what will it look like as she replays all of Fergus Byrne’s (Lane Davies) accusations against her in her mind over the next month — convincing herself that he’s going to keep her from ever practicing law again?

Rumor has it that Alexis may lose her grip on her sobriety in the coming weeks as the anxiety over her case eats her alive.

GH Spoilers – Tease She’ll Have Company

On the heels of her hearing, Alexis learning that Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) passed away while she was off defending herself with his medal in hand will just devastate her.

Alexis has never been one to handle grief well, and piling it on top of the mountain of anxiety she has is only going to make matters worse.

If that wasn’t enough, she’ll still have to endure her career at The Invader over the next month while she prays that she’ll be able to submit her two weeks’ notice soon.

Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) has also fallen off the wagon, and despite her promise to pull him through this, they may end up leaning on each other in comissery and drunkenness instead.

General Hospital Spoilers — Surprise! You’re A Lawyer!

Much to Alexis’ delight, rumor has it she will be reinstated to the bar. The downside? She may fall off the wagon in the meantime just waiting for the news.

Finding out that she can practice law again might sound like it would be enough to motivate her to clean herself up, but it’s not nearly that simple with addiction.

After all the hard work Diane put in to getting her an appeal and solidifying the reinstatement, will she lose that friendship after appearing to throw it all away from the bottom of a bottle?

Will she regain the right to practice law only to lose it all over again on her own merits? Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers to find out.

Cricket legend Sir Ian Botham has revealed he was saved by his fellow great Merv Hughes when he took a painful fall into crocodile-infested waters in Australia’s wild tropical north last week. ‘Beefy’ Botham, 68, was on a four-day fishing trip with his former Ashes opponent when disaster almost struck as he tripped and took a tumble that left him with severe bruising – and put him at risk of an attack by a saltwater croc. ‘At the end of the day, Crocodile Beefy survived,’ the former all-rounder said, mixing his nickname with a reference to the hit Australian film Crocodile Dundee.
