According to the schedule confirmed with fans, Jungkook (BTS) was present at Jimmy Fallon’s The Tonight Show to promote his first solo album Golden on November 6.
JungKook is not a strange guest to Jimmy Fallon, because the male artist once joined other BTS members on the famous MC’s talk show. Similar to fellow group members Jimin and Suga, this is also the first time Jungkook appeared on the famous talk show as a solo artist.
This time, appearing solo without the support of other members, the youngest member of BTS suddenly seemed a bit timid. But thanks to the friendly host Jimmy Fallon, who constantly made the male artist laugh with his charming speaking skills and quirky games, JungKook became more open and even taught dancing right on American television.
Jungkook had the opportunity to share his hobbies and biggest fears with Jimmy Fallon
In the beginning, Fallon said that Jungkook is a global pop star who recently replaced himself at number 1 on Spotify’s global chart. Sharing his thoughts about his successful journey, the male singer said: “Honestly, I am very confident but this is beyond my imagination. And I’m very grateful to ARMY.”
Jungkook also did not forget to thank the BTS members for their constant support. Vocalist Seven shared: “Without them, I wouldn’t be who I am today.”

Jimmy Fallon asked Jungkook what he does when he’s not busy with music projects. The BTS member humorously responded that he likes to lie in bed all day, cook and do things like everyone else.
Responding to Jungkook, Jimmy Fallon quickly shared two moments of the youngest member of BTS that he found the funniest. First, it was the male singer’s fear of microwave ovens. The second thing is that Jungkook once fell asleep while livestreaming with fans. Specifically, Jungkook once fell asleep for more than 45 minutes while he had 6 million people following the male singer.
Faced with this confusing situation, Jungkook heated up the atmosphere of the talk show when he did not hesitate to confess to the host: “I think my ARMY fans liked it because it was something very surprising.” . But actually, it’s a bit embarrassing.”

Continuing the conversation, Jungkook explained his nickname “Golden Maknae”. In Korean, “maknae” means youngest person. Golden Maknae is the nickname that group leader RM gave to the youngest member JungKook. The male singer also shared that he chose Golden as the name of his new album because he realized that his journey had many golden moments.
JungKook also recounted the reactions of the BTS members after listening to his album: “Because we’ve been together for a long time, they didn’t really say anything specific. They just said, ‘This is amazing’.”
Finally, Jimmy Fallon asked if the youngest member of BTS will hold a world tour for the album Golden in the future. In response, JungKook said, “Of course I want to do a world tour as a solo artist, but I don’t think I have enough songs for that.”
To end the conversation, Jungkook taught Jimmy Fallon some dance moves from the title song Standing Next To You . The BTS member then immediately performed this song on the show’s live broadcast.
Following the humorous conversation at The Tonight Show , singer Seven will continue to promote her album in the US. The singer’s next stop will be the Today’s Show on November 8 followed by the Citi Concert Series and a live concert at Rockefeller Plaza in New York City.
