Billie Eilishย discussed her ๐ e๐ฅuality in an interview withย Variety.
Some speculation, and even allegations of queerbaiting, emerged following Billie’s pajama party video for her 2021 single “Lost Cause.” She wrote in an Instagramย captionย with behind-the-scenes pictures, “I love girls.” She toldย Elleย the same year, “Like, oh yeah, [my ๐ e๐ฅuality is] everyone else’s business, right? No. Where’s that energy with men?”
โIโve never really felt like I could relate to girls very well,โ Eilish told Variety. โI love them so much. I love them as people. Iโm attracted to them as people. Iโm attracted to them for real.โ

Billie continued, โI have deep connections with women in my life, the friends in my life, the family in my life. Iโm physically attracted to them. But Iโm also so intimidated by them and their beauty and their presence.โ

While further discussing her previous style and why it wasn’t necessarily about not wanting to be “๐ e๐ฅualized,” she explained, “Iโve never felt like a woman, to be honest with you. Iโve never felt desirable. Iโve never felt feminine. I have to convince myself that Iโm, like, a pretty girl.”
