Rihanna and A$AP Rocky Are Reportedly Focusing On Their Sons Ahead of His Trial

On Monday, Judge M.L. Villar ruled that A$AP Rocky will have to stand trial for an alleged Los Angeles shooting. The rapper has been accused of firing a gun at a former friend in front of the W. Hotel in Hollywood on November 6, 2021. Rocky plead not guilty to two felony counts of assault with a semiautomatic firearm.

Rihanna and A$AP Rocky Are Reportedly Focusing On Their Sons Ahead of His Trial

The 35-year-old musical artist is being supported through the legal case by his girlfriend, Rihanna, according to a source speaking with Entertainment Tonight.

“Rihanna and A$AP are a team and will always support each other,” said the insider.

Rihanna and Rocky have been in a romantic relationship since 2020 and have two sons together, Rza and Riot. Rza was born in May of 2022, and Rihanna revealed she was expecting again while performing at the Super Bowl Halftime Show in February 2023. Riot joined the family in August of this year.

“Rihanna and A$AP always put family first and are both very hands-on parents,” the source explained, adding that they are trying to keep the trial from disturbing their home life for the kids.

A Los Angeles detective testified on Monday that surveillance footage from the night of the alleged crime shows a man resembling A$AP carrying a gun. The victim, Terell Ephron, says he returned to the scene and found bullet casings himself, rather than the officers on the case. Ephron states he received minor injuries during the supposed incident, including grazed knuckles.

Before his court date, Rocky enjoyed a weekend in Las Vegas promoting his F1 x Puma collaboration. During an interview with Complex, he was asked about collaborating on fashion with Rihanna in the future, but Rocky suggested they work best on other things.

“I think we do a real great job at collaborating making children,” he said. “I think that’s our best creation so far. Nothing’s better than that out there, any design.”

As he claimed for a whiplash-style shoulder injury, he failed, however, to mention he was still a dab hand at lifting logs, concrete balls and even a Transit van. The decision to seek compensation for his accident injuries, in what solicitors said was a ‘blatantly dishonest’ insurance claim against the other driver, has left him £25,000 out-of-pocket.

Controversial plans to build a megafarm with up to 870,000 chickens and 14,000 pigs between two villages have attracted nearly 15,000 complaints. Cranswick, the food giant behind the plans, says the two sites will be set 400 yards apart and operate separately to act as a ‘bio-precaution’. But locals fear the giant facility will belch out foul odours including ammonia fumes, attract swarms of flies and result in thousands of lorries driving past homes.

New Zealand’s deputy prime minister has taken aim at Australia for deporting Kiwi criminals back to his country while Aussies remain locked up in NZ.
