Anne Hathaway Blooms in a Stunning Red Floral Dress After a Charming Interview with Les Miserables Co-Stars – Pretty as a Petal

Anne Hathaway brightened up chilly New York on Monday when she arrived at the Late Show with David Letterman.

The actress accentuated her porcelain skin with an arresting red dress and bright pink lipstick.

The slinky frock was covered in scarlet and magenta flowers and clung to the 29-year-old’s gorgeous figure.

Flower power: Anne Hathaway made for an arresting sight in a floral dress as she arrived at the Late Show with David Letterman in New York on Monday

Her legs may already go on for acres but Anne still gave herself a boost in black patent platform pumps and looked in a sunny mood as she posed for photographers.

It was a busy day for the Dark Night Rises star, who was arriving for her second interview of the day.

Earlier on Anne had joined her Les Miserables co-stars for a group interview on The Today Show.

Anne, Amanda Seyfried, Hugh Jackman, Sacha Baron Cohen, Eddie Redmayne and Samantha Barks all chatted about the nerve-racking nature of singing live for their respective roles in the upcoming film.

What a sight for sore eyes! Anne’s scarlet and magenta dress and pink lipstick certainly brightened up the chilly Big Apple day

Living doll: The colourful frock, which clung to her slim frame, also accentuated the star’s porcelain skin

Director Tom Hopper and the child stars of the musical film, Isabelle Allen and Daniel Huttlestone, were also on hand for the interview.

The camaraderie between the cast was clear for all to see, with Hugh at one point joking that his songs were really sung by Sacha.

He said: ‘Just to be clear, my live singing is actually Sacha behind a curtain.’

And when asked who was the best singer of the group, Sacha humorously put himself forward.

Busy day: Earlier on Anne had attended a separate interview, joining her Les Miserables co-stars, including Amanda Seyfried (R)

He joked: ‘I’ve got the range and also just the power and also just amazing emotion that some of the others lack.’

Anne then teased that she had been inspired by his movie The Dictator while portraying factory worker Fantine, who is forced to turn to prostitution.

Amanda may have been the most experienced for a movie musical after starring in Mamma Mia, but she admitted that didn’t make her feel any more comfortable.

The 27-year-old said: ‘I had no confidence. It was so different, two different worlds. The stamina was the biggest issue.’

All-star cast: (L-R) Director Tom Hopper and actors Hugh Jackman, Anne, Sacha Baron Cohen, Amanda, Eddie Redmayne, Samantha Barks, Isabelle Allen and Daniel Huttlestone all appeared on The Today Show

The biggest challenge: The cast all agreed that the hardest part about filming the movie was singing live

Director Tom is undeniably proud of the cast and crew’s achievement on the highly anticipated movie, and happily gushed about the film.

He said: ‘Les Miserables is so close to so many people’s hearts so to get the opportunity to bring it to the big screen and to give people that emotional journey on the big screen was amazing.’

He added: ‘And with this cast, with this run of actors, it was a dream.’

Les Miserables hits cinemas on Christmas Day.
