I recently came to a groundbreaking, surprising, and maybe even jaw-dropping conclusion: I now prefer knee-high boots over my go-to heels. *Gasp!* I’m blaming the shift on the cozy weather, but I think Amal Clooney and fellow celebs are partly to blame (thank?).
Clooney has long been intertwined with the world of knee-high boots. The dominatrix style is sexy and sophisticated, adding an elegant twist to all of her ensembles. Gigi Hadid, Taylor Swift, and Dakota Johnson are also on board with the risqué trend, only further proving its chokehold on the fashion industry — and my wardrobe, too. So, what better time to revamp your boot collection, or maybe even start one, than Cyber Monday? Below, you’ll find six of my favorite on-sale knee-high boots starting at $39.

Marc Fisher Georgiey Pointed-Toe Knee-High Boot
Nordstrom
These Marc Fisher Georgiey boots have quickly become one of my most-worn pairs of shoes. Available in black suede and black and natural leather, they feature a short 3-inch heel, pointed toe, and side zipper. The leather feels like butter against my skin while the footbed is supportive enough to walk on all day — I’d know since I’ve worn them on my morning commute, to work, dinners, and more. I’m also under 5-feet tall, and the 16-inch shaft hits right at my knee, making these boots a great option for women of all heights.
One shopper even said the Marc Fisher boots are “very flattering,” continuing to call them “chic, elegant, and feminine.” Another claims they’re the “perfect combination” of “sexy, cute, and comfortable,” and they’re not wrong.
J.Crew Piper Knee-High Boot
J.Crew
Everyone needs block-heeled footwear in their closet, and these Piper boots from J.Crew pass the test. Available in soft suede, smooth black leather, and chocolate brown embossed fabric, there’s a style for all preferences. No matter which option you choose, you’ll love the boot’s Western characteristics, almond-shaped toe, and pull-on style.
I’m personally obsessed with the maple suede option; it’s perfect for wearing with chunky, Rory Gilmore-inspired sweaters. Others love the same hue, calling it a “great neutral brown” that will be a “staple for sure.” Even better? They’re “comfortable right out of the box,” fit wearers’ calves, and are “easy to walk in.”
Kenneth Cole Justin Knee-High Boot
Amazon
The fact that these Kenneth Cole boots are on sale for more than 50 percent off blows me away, but those are the kinds of deals you’ll find only on Cyber Monday. The tall riding boots include a high, chunky heel, discrete gusset for added stretch, almond toe, rubber sole, and side zipper. The versatile black hue makes them great for wearing with an array of ensembles including knit dresses, leather jackets, and even leggings.
Shoppers call them “absolutely perfect,” saying that if you’re thinking of buying them, “do it!!” Someone else called out that this is a “great price for leather,” being that the material usually costs a pretty penny. “The last leather boots I bought lasted 10 years,” they said, “I hope these do also!” The reviewer suggested buying a half size bigger just in case they’re “somewhere really cold and [are] wearing thick socks.”
