The Most Adorable Photos of Patrick and Brittany Mahomes Through the Years

The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback and his longtime love, who share daughter Sterling Skye and son Patrick ‘Bronze’ Lavon, married in March 2022

Before they walked down the aisle, Patrick Mahomes and Brittany Matthews went to prom together. And before they welcomed kids, they were maintaining a long-distance relationship while attending different colleges. The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback and the women’s soccer team co-owner have stayed by each other’s sides since they started dating in 2012.

While their love remains staunch, Patrick and Brittany’s lives have evolved quite a bit over the past decade. Their daughter, Sterling Skye, was born in February 2021, and their son, Patrick ‘Bronze’ Lavon, followed in November 2022. Between the two arrivals, the longtime couple got married in March 2022.

From high school sweethearts to parents of two, the Mahomes have seen and done it all together. Check out the sweet photos that the couple snapped along the way.

Over the course of one year, they went from bride and groom to frequent guests. Brittany shared a darling picture from an April 2023 wedding on Instagram. “Professional wedding goers at this point 😎,” she said in the caption.

The duo looked calm and collected in this adorable snap from March 2023, even though Brittany’s Instagram caption suggested it might not have been the smoothest outing.

“Brought a toddler to a Professional Tennis Match today, not the brightest idea,” she wrote, adding two laughing emojis.

Lucky kids! The Mahomes quartet visited Disneyland just one day after Dad’s team won the Super Bowl.

“Welcome to the happiest place on earth, Bronze and Sterling! ❤️,” wrote Patrick, who held his nearly 3-month-old son for a magic castle-backed photo op.

Patrick’s Kansas City Chiefs won the 2023 Super Bowl, and his wife couldn’t have been prouder. Brittany filmed the final moments of the game for her Instagram Story, in which you could hear her scream “He did it!” as she ran on the field to celebrate with him.

While the Super Bowl marked an extra-special occasion, the high school sweethearts are hardly shy about getting romantic on the field.

Moment Australian official performs acknowledgement of country in AZERBAIJAN during climate change conference: ‘Farce’

A year on from the failed Voice referendum, the value of acknowledgement of country ceremonies are again being widely debated in Australia. But no one expected such a ceremony would be performed by an Australian government delegation in the Azerbaijan, 13,230km from Sydney, which has been dubbed ‘a complete farce’. Most Australians probably couldn’t find Azerbaijan on a map – it’s a former Soviet republic, partly in Asia and partly in Europe – but that didn’t stop delegate Dr Clare Anderson from performing an acknowledgement of country there to a near empty-room.
