On December 5, BTS’s RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook logged onto Weverse to spend time with their fans one last time before enlisting in their mandatory military service.
In the live broadcast, V and Jungkook unveiled their freshly trimmed hairstyles in anticipation of their upcoming enlistment. Despite Jungkook initially concealing his new look with a hood, suspense built throughout the stream until he finally revealed his buzz cut. Viewers quickly caught a fleeting glimpse as he shyly dashed across the screen.
On the other hand, Jimin was still seen with long blonde locks and revealed that he was not ready to show fans his military hairstyle look. RM asked, “Has he ever shaved his head before?” and Jungkook waved his hand to say, “No.” Jimin remarked, “Fans don’t expect any photos. I’ll enlist quietly and be discharged quietly. I don’t want to show that side to me,” bringing laughter. RM added, “He’s a true idol.”

Not only that, each member shared their resolution to return safely and assured fans that the year and a half would pass by quickly. The four members also shared that Jin will be discharged very soon, so the fans will not be left alone. Jin is slated to be discharged on June 12, 2024.
