She says Austin is dead and asks why he killed him. Surprised, Cyrus asks how and when, and she reveals he was shot in the chest at close range. He calls her a callous woman, but she insists she didn’t kill him, he did.
Ava informs him that she knows he had Mason kidnap her so Austin would testify about his health and help him get released. She accuses him of repaying Austin by killing him. Cyrus insists he didn’t kill him, he even put him through medical school and Austin was valuable to him. He also says he has an alibi, as he works past closing every night. He asks if she has an alibi? Ava walks out.
Later, Laura drops by to see Cyrus and he asks what brings her by. She wanted to see how his job was working out. He asks why she cares, as she’s made it clear to him to stay away from her. She says she’ll go if he wants, but she has realized they are family and should try and find a middle ground. He cries that’s all he ever wanted.
Cyrus cries about how horribly his parents treated him growing up, and even his mom refuses to accept money from him for her care. He screams that she, Martin and his mother can keep treating him like dirt, but God knows what is in his heart and that is more than enough for him.
Laura wants to believe she’s been wrong about him and that he’s changed. He takes that as a future apology, and she hopes to give him one. They both laugh. Cyrus says if she doesn’t see him around the next week to know that he hasn’t fallen into his old ways, but that he going to visit his mother, even if she doesn’t want to see him. At Kristina’s place, she and Blaze kiss, and Blaze apologizes for ambushing her or making her uncomfortable. Kristina says she’s not uncomfortable at all. Kristina didn’t even suspect her of being gay. Blaze says with her life, she can’t be open about who she is, and she is jealous of those who can be out. Kristina says how she chooses to express her sexuality and when is up to her, everyone is on their own journey.
Blaze says she’s seen so many relationships fail in this business, and for her it was easier to focus on her career. Kristina asks if she really thinks her fans would have a problem with her sexuality. Blaze guesses her fans would accept her, but her very Catholic family wouldn’t.
Blaze talks about her grandmother and cousins, and her visit with them in Puerto Rico recently. She explains she has this one uncle that nobody talks about and she hasn’t seen him since she was little. She says she tried to find him online, but he has a very common name. She fears if he is gay and he came out, then he lost his family. She is not brave enough to do that, Kristina says it’s a scary decision to make to come out to your family, but a necessary one.
Kristina says she is not saying it’s a requirement to come out, but when she came out to her mom she had no problem with her sexuality, but that she was involved with an older married woman. However, her dad is old school, and she was afraid he’d reject her. Instead, he accepted her immediately, and his love allowed her to explore who she was. Blaze is happy for her, but she’s not there yet. Kristina says if and when she decides to come out to her family, that timing is her own. She is here for her and whatever she needs. Blaze tells her she’s amazing, and they kiss again. Blaze eventually departs, but they plan to see each other around.
Anna visits with Felicia and tells her she could really use a friend. Felicia says she’s come to the right place. Anna cries she’s still struggling with Charlotte’s shooting. Felicia calls it a tragedy, but Charlotte survived. Felicia knows Anna and asks why she shot first before asking questions. Anna explains she thought her stalker was waiting for her and she had no idea it was Charlotte as Valentin kept her in the dark. She relays everything that went on with Charlotte, and Valentin didn’t trust her enough to tell her. She says it’s over for them, and Felicia is sorry but says this wasn’t her fault. Felicia asks who the person at the WSB she thinks is targeting her. Anna tells her that years ago an op went bad and this agent Forsythe was to blame, but the WSB buried that. She explains she kept a copy of the report for safekeeping, along with other files in a trunk. After her house burned down, she thought there could be something in the trunk that could give her a clue, and that’s when she found the report.
Anna explains she shared her suspicions with Robert about Forsythe, and he agreed with her. She went home that night and that’s when she found someone in her home. She went in armed, and that’s when she shot Charlotte who she thought had a gun, and couldn’t see her clearly. She continues to explain shortly after the shooting, the evidence went missing, and Forsythe turned up as a corpse in Port Charles. She’s sure he died because of something in that report.
At Dante’s, he shows Sam the piece of evidence, a key found with Jamison Forsythe, which he says could be the key to finding out who is after Anna. He explains it goes to a locker at a train station locker, and tells her of Anna’s missing evidence on Forsythe. Fortunately, he convinced the M.E. not to include the key in his report.
They head to bed, and Dante continues to tell her about the evidence Anna had on Forsythe went missing after Charlotte was shot. Later Forsythe’s body showed up dead and with the key. The evidence Anna had might be in the train station locker, but he hasn’t checked, and he hasn’t told Anna yet. She asks why not? Dante fears it could be a trap, and whoever killed Forsythe could be after Anna. She asks why he doesn’t turn the key over to the PCPD? He says the WSB might be monitoring the case, and if the report is in that locker and they got to it they’d destroy it and Anna would be in more danger. Sam asks why this is even and issue if it happened in the eighties. Dante suggests someone else may be named in that report, and that is why Anna could still be in danger.
In his Metro Court room, Brennan is furious Sonny didn’t accept their offer. Hume asks how long he’ll be in town for. Brennan says long enough to make sure the shipments to Canada are set up, and he cleans up the mess Forsythe left them with. Hume asks how he’ll explain the head of the WSB taking an extended absence. Brennan says that being the director has its perks, he can work remotely and after getting rid of Frisco everything else fell into place. Hume wonders who their priority is, Sonny or Anna? Brennan tells him both. Hume asks why they don’t kill Sonny. Brennan says that would create a void in the mob world and people would be fighting to fill it, and that would create attention they don’t want. He feels they find a way to force Sonny’s hand.
Hume asks why the interest in Anna. Brennan tells him about the incident with Forsythe, and Anna keeping a copy of the mission report. Forsythe was supposed to retrieve it and eliminate Anna, and he failed at both tasks. Brennan says Forsythe’s last message was he had the report, so it’s still out there and a ticking bomb.
Curtis visits Sonny at his office and needs his help. Curtis needs the names of anyone who might want to take a shot at him. Curtis explains he’s trying to find out who put him in this chair, and wants to know who is at the top of Sonny’s suspect list. Curtis asks if he thinks Anna was the target? Sonny replies, “Not necessarily.”
Sonny tells Curtis about Pikeman, who has connections to the WSB, and they wanted to work with him and it didn’t work out Curtis realizes Pikeman my be after Sonny. Sonny doesn’t know if Pikeman tried to kill him, but he doesn’t see why they’d go after Anna. Curtis says he’s going to have to start at square one.
