One Piece star Mackenyu teases “better” Zoro fight scenes in season 2, setting the stage for just how much action the upcoming episodes will have.
One Piece star Mackenyu has teased “better” Zoro fight scenes in season 2, setting the stage for the next chapter of the live-action anime adaptation. The Netflix series proved to be a popular reimagining of Eiichiro Oda’s manga and anime series, getting renewed for season 2 soon after season 1 premiered. This means even more adventures featuring Luffy and the Straw Hat Pirates are set to arrive in the coming season.
Now, OP_Netflix_Fan has uploaded a video of Mackenyu teasing even more action for Zoro in One Piece season 2.

The actor also says to “expect a lot more” in the upcoming season, underscoring just how big it will be. This could also mean many more action sequences for other major characters as well.
How Much Action Will There Be In One Piece Season 2?
One Piece season 1 ended with the Straw Hat Pirates leaving Nami’s village on their way to the Grand Line, setting the stage for the next chapter of their journey. If the series follows the anime, the next storyline will be the Arabasta Saga, which features plenty of action against new foes in unfamiliar locations. However, the show also set up Loguetown in a post-credits scene, indicating the group has one more stop before they leave East Blue behind.
For Zoro, the action in season 2 will center around Baroque Works, a mysterious organization teased by the appearance of Mr. 7 in season 1. This new group will be vital to the Arabasta Saga, which reveals their goals and the ruthless leader behind their operations. One Piece season 2 will introduce many villains from the group, promising plenty of action-packed sequences in which Zoro will play a role.
Although Mackenyu’s comments focus on Zoro, One Piece season 2 will give every character plenty of time to shine through unique action scenes. The excitement of these scenes will no doubt result in plenty of memorable moments reminiscent of the anime. With plenty still left to be revealed about the next set of episodes, it appears they will enhance the action with bigger and better fight scenes.
