Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are always watched closely by their fans, and now a sweet moment between the couple has gone viral online.
Since September, the 34-year-old Kansas City Chiefs tight end has been publicly linked to the pop superstar. This year, Swift, 33, has shown up at multiple Chiefs games, including their contest against the Buffalo Bills on December 10.
Unfortunately, the Chiefs lost, making this their fourth loss out of their last six games; they have also been defeated by the Denver Broncos, Philadelphia Eagles and the Green Bay Packers. This means the teams’ chances of being the No. 1 seed in the AFC are quickly slipping away.
It’s safe to say that Kelce would have been upset by the loss—but now he has Swift by his side. Fans of the singer-songwriter are loving a photo taken of Kelce and Swift from after the game, with many saying she is comforting the football player.
Newsweek reached out to representatives for Kelce and Swift for comment via email Monday.
At the time of writing the photo, which was uploaded to X, formerly Twitter, by @TheSwiftSociety, has over 1.2 million views and 47,000 likes. In it, Swift is looking at Kelce while the pair are mid-conversation, with him looking dejected as he holds her hand. The caption reads: “@TaylorSwift13 leaving the game with Travis Kelce.”
People flocked to the comment section to share their thoughts on the photo. “What she did was comfort him,” one person wrote.
“Looks like she is trying to cheer him up. What a mess of WR [wide receiver] we have. Kelce has to be working overtime and still losing. Gosh they are wasting him this entire season,” added another.
“The way she’s looking at him! Love that she’s comforting him,” a third person commented.

“Loving the body language, both leaning in toward each other,” read another comment.
A fifth person added: “Even when he loses, he’s still winning.”
Others commented on how perfect they think the couple are. “They go so perfectly together and idk [I don’t know] how else to describe it,” wrote one.
“They really do seem to be well matched. They just give off comfort and caring about each other,” another posted.
This wasn’t the only moment from Sunday’s game that set Swifties alight online, as people were startled when CBS color announcer Tony Romo accidentally called Swift Kelce’s “wife.”
Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes found Kelce for a 23-yard completion and sparked praise from Romo and play-by-play announcer Jim Nantz.

“That’s amazing,” Romo said, as the CBS cameras panned to Swift. “This is intercepted by most people, as you see Kelce’s wife Taylor Swift in the audience—er, I’m sorry.”
“Not yet,” Nantz replied before asking, “You don’t know something we don’t know, do you?”
Swift arrived at Arrowhead Stadium shortly before the Bills ran out onto the field. The pop star walked by them wearing a black outfit with “Chiefs” emblazoned in large red letters on the front of her shirt.
Sunday’s contest was Swift’s sixth Chiefs game of the year and her fourth at Arrowhead Stadium. She recently told Time magazine during her 2023 “Person of the Year” interview that she doesn’t worry about angering “dads, Brads, and Chads” who are upset by the coverage of her at games.
