Welcome to Kim Air.
Billionaire Kim Kardashian added “private plane owner” to her list of accomplishments when she purchased a Gulfstream jet in 2022 for a reported $95 million.
In true Kardashian form, she fitted out the aircraft with custom modifications, skyrocketing its reported worth to an eye-watering $150 million.
Here’s everything you need to know about the Skims mogul’s luxurious private jet.
Luxurious interiors
The fashion designer’s plane made its first public appearance on an episode of her family’s Hulu reality show, “The Kardashians.”
“I feel like I’m doing an ‘MTV Cribs’ for planes,” she joked at the time.
“I never dreamed I would own a plane,” the mother of four continued.
“I wanted it to feel like an extension of me and an extension of my home.”
Kardashian, who famously sticks to a very specific home interior aesthetic, revealed guests would still feel like they were in her living room while in the sky.
“Usually, planes are dark with lighter leather. Mine — I had custom, all-light wood. I had a bathroom put in the front and a bathroom put in the back. Every seat has its own phone charger,” she explained.
The “American Horror Story” actress also revealed that “the best, most exciting part of the plane” was the cashmere accents on the overhead baggage compartments, ceilings, seats and headrests.
Rules onboard
If you want to snag a seat on Kim Air, you have to follow her rules.
Kardashian revealed she doesn’t even make exceptions for her family members — one of whom tried to bend the rules ahead of a trip to Milan, which was documented on their reality show.
When Kendall Jenner told her big sis she was “just going to go get a quick spray tan” before their flight, Kardashian laid down the law.
“A spray tan before my flight?” she asked.
“No, it’s a three-hour one, so I sit in it for three hours and then shower it off,” the supermodel explained.
“Have you seen the cashmere seats? You cannot get your spray tan on my cashmere seats,” Kardashian said.
Later in the conversation, the Skkn founder asked Jenner if she had any meal requests — before promptly roasting her decision.
“Let me know if you like any snacks because I have, like, waffles and I have a freezer so, like, I live it up on there,” Kardashian said.
When the 818 Tequila founder requested pasta, her big sis chimed in, “We’re going to be in f–king Italy. We’re not going to eat pasta before we go.”
On a separate occasion, Kardashian revealed she had a no-shoes policy on the jet.
Rather, she has her passengers wear “custom Skims slippers.”
“Don’t breathe. Don’t touch a thing,” she joked during a segment on “The Kardashians.”
The best on the market
Kardashian followed in the footsteps of fellow billionaire Jeff Bezos, who is also the owner of multiple G650ERs.
Her aircraft is part of the extended-range version of Gulfstream’s G650, which was initially unveiled in 2008.
If it’s good enough for Bezos and Kardashian, it’s probably one of the best on the market.
