But as it turns out, the 25-year-old did her own makeup for the Academy Awards.

The Euphoria star showcased her makeup skills as she posted a photo of her looking beyond glam on the red carpet to her Instagram Stories on Tuesday.

‘Every now and then I do my own beat,’ Zendaya wrote in a photo.

Zendaya tagged cosmetics company Lancome in the photo, indicating she used their products to glam up her complexion.

The stunner looked exquisite with full lashes, smoky eye shadow, radiant blush and a fresh swipe of lip gloss.

Her hair, however, was professionally done.

Her ‘do for the evening was expertly coiffed by hairstylist Antoinette Hill, who explained that she wanted to go with a ‘soft up sweep because it felt very glamorous and Hollywood-esque’.

To achieve the perfect updo, Antoinette used clip-in extensions from Hidden Crown to add volume, before prepping the locks with products from Joico – including the BlondeLife Powder Lightener and Defy Damage Pro Series 1 – and TRESEmme – like the Keratin Shine Serum and Total Volume Hair Spray – as well as tools from T3.

Zendaya appeared to have also done her makeup for the subsequent afterparty as she shared a photo of her attending the Vanity Fair Oscar party.

‘And then I switched up the eye…’ she wrote in the photo, along with another shout-out to Lancome.

Zendaya’s film Dune won six of the 10 Oscars it was nominated for, including Best Original Score and Best Sound.
