Aquaman 2 or “Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom” is about to release in the theatres in the US and other countries. Fans are anticipating a surprise twist after the post-credits in Jason Momoa’s film.
Despite initial excitement, the buzz for Aquaman 2 has diminished, influenced by the prevailing negativity surrounding the sequel. Warner Bros. organized an exclusive world premiere for Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom at The Grove in Los Angeles, California, on Monday, December 18. During the screening, details emerged regarding the number of post-credits scenes featured in the upcoming DCEU sequel.
As reported by Angel Amaral from the GOAT Movie Podcast via X, Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom is confirmed to have just one post-credits scene, marking it as the final one in the DCEU.
This revelation aligns with the approach taken by “The Flash”, the Ezra Miller-led film, which also featured only one post-credits scene.
A surprise is still on the cards for fans once the credits roll in Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom.
The hype for Aquaman 2 has dwindled due to the negativity that surrounds the sequel. On top of disappointing box office projections, the review embargo for the Jason Momoa-led movie will be lifted on Thursday, December 21, only one day before its theatrical debut in the United States.
Still, some fans are looking forward to what the sequel’s post-credits scene could tease despite being the last DCEU project.
