Timothée Chalamet is clearly Hollywood’s biggest effort for a movie star. Is he attractive? Yes, is he a good actor? No. Here are the reasons why.

Timothée Chalamet
He is the son of former Broadway actor and singer Nicole Flender. He credited his mother for his “need to act and be seen,” which led to his acting career.
And his maternal grandfather Harold Flender was a filmmaker and writer. While his father, Marc Chalamet, is a journalist currently working as the New York correspondent for Le Parisien.
He also worked as a writer and editor at the United Nations.
More than Chalamet’s parents, his maternal uncle and aunt had more connections to the industry. The couple is both directors and writers.
His uncle Rodman Flender worked in TV, directing a couple of episodes of dramas like ‘The Office’, ‘Ugly Betty’, MTV’s ‘Scream‘, and ‘Gilmore Girls’. The family’s only film connection is his uncle’s direction of ‘Leprechaun 2′. Besides his uncle, his aunt Amy Lippman co-created a 90’s show, ‘Party Of Five‘.

The ‘Dune’ actor does have connections to people in the movie and TV industry. But the real question is whether these connections are enough for Timothée Chalametto to become a notable global star by 25. And surely that’s no.
The 27-year-old’s talent and efforts have made him reach great heights at a young age. The actor has received many award nominations.
This includes his Oscar nomination for Best Actor for his role as Elio in ‘Call Me By Your Name’ in 2018. This made him the youngest actor to be nominated in the category in over 80 years.
My thoughts about why I think Timothée Chalamet is model-like attractive but a terrible actor.
Timothée Chalamet comes from Rich Parents and a family with connections that made his life way easy in order to pursue acting.
He has double standards, for example, the way he worked with Woody Allen in the movie “A Rainy Day in New York,” and after the media cancelled Woody Allen, he said he would donate all his earnings to charity.
However, In Woody Allen’s book, he says that Timothée Chalamet called him and apologized to him and said, “ I have to do this because I am front runner to get an Oscar nomination for “Call Me by your name” That was really shitty.
Then, he worked in the movie with Armie Hammer, and their relationship was just weird (on a press tour) Chamalet said how much he liked Armie (that didn’t age well).
Then the whole rumour about him giving chlamydia to the whole “NYU acting program,” and lately, he has been hanging with Leonardo Dicaprio.
He can do whatever he wants with his personal life, but his actions are a bit weird. He gives the cringe vibe.
When I saw Call Me by your name, I thought he had potential, but it wasn’t the amazing performance everyone was praising.
It was okay. But Hollywood needed a young star to cash more money and bring people to the theatres; they are still trying to create big Hollywood stars, and one way to do this is to praise them as the best.
When I saw “Beautiful Boy,” I totally hated him; he was terrible, overacted, fake and not believable. Just form, no substance.
I started to dislike him as an actor, especially with the hype he was having. Then Lady Bird and Little Women totally miscast and had terrible acting.
I didn’t believe all his performances as the Laurie written in the book.
In “A rainy day in New York,” he plays himself in Woody Allen’s version. And lastly, I watched Dune.
He was the reason I wasn’t a fan of the film, even though I liked everything else. He doesn’t have rage; he always plays himself with the same expression, voice and gestures.
Two things will happen: the audience will realize he is a bad actor, and Hollywood will start to give him fewer movies, or he will have a long career, being a mediocre actor.
However:
He has a killer bone structure for fashion and photography.
Cinematographers and photographers must love him because of his sharp jawline, cheekbones, and skinny body; his photography is nice and creates nice shadows and shapes.
For fashion, his model-like body allows him to wear androgenic modern clothes and be somehow an icon of modern fashion.
His Venice Festival red carpet look in 2022 was all over social media for weeks. It was Iconic because his body shape and structure helped him a lot. If you’re into androgenic-type guys, you will find him extremely attractive.
He is handsome and should focus his career more on modelling than acting.
