According to the latest statistics of the world’s largest streaming platform Spotify, the number of monthly listeners of Jennie (Blackpink) increased to 28,721,223, on December 28, 2023.
With this achievement, Jennie officially broke the record of fellow group member, Lisa, to become the female Kpop solo artist with the highest number of monthly listeners in Spotify history. Previously, Lisa held this record with 28.7 million listeners in the highest month.
Counting all Kpop female artists (both group and solo), Jennie ranked 3rd, after Fifty Fifty and Blackpink. Currently, Jennie is the 178th artist in the world with monthly listeners.
The female singer set a record with only 3 songs since 2018: “Solo”, “One of the girls” (combining The Weeknd, Lily-Rose Depp) and “You & Me”.

Jennie’s song “You & Me” also just reached 100 million streams on Spotify, after nearly 3 months of release.
After announcing the establishment of her own company called ODD ATELIER (OD) on December 24, Jennie continuously received good news. Recently, YG Entertainment also officially announced that the company could not reach an agreement to extend individual contracts with all 4 Blackpink members (Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, Lisa).
All of Jennie’s future solo activities, from music, fashion, advertising… will not have the intervention of YG, but will be completely supported and developed by her own company OA.
