‘Life can be brutally unfair at times and This has been one of the toughest times in so many of our lives. But at the same time, I feel blessed that I am lucky to have had someone that makes saying goodbye so incredibly difficult.
‘So difficult that I’m choosing not to say goodbye for good because that is something I cannot fathom. Goodbyes for good are something I don’t believe in. I KNOW I will see you again.
‘I know I will hear your sweet voice and infectious laugh again. I know I’ll get to feel that embrace of yours. I’ll see you again with the many that have gone before you that I so desperately miss, love and cherish. So, I’m choosing to say, that until I see you again in Heaven, I miss you and I will continue to miss you more and more every single day.’

Tristan Thompson is the oldest of Andrea’s four sons.
Her youngest, 16-year-old Amari, suffers from epilepsy, leading Tristan to establish The Amari Thompson Fund in 2013.
In an interview with NBC last year, Tristan opened up about his beloved younger brother and how his condition has motivated the NBA star.
‘Everyone has their motivation,’ said Thompson. ‘For me, it’s my brother and my family. My mom has had to sacrifice each day as well. She’s had to watch a child for basically 24-hour care. That takes her away from her own life and freedom.’
He added: ‘Most parents who have kids in the NBA, their parents are able to go to Vegas or Atlantic City and go to islands. For her, it’s not always the same. I use that as my driving force to try to make both their lives easier.’
Khloe and Tristan have remained on good terms since the end of their romantic relationship – amicably co-parenting their four-year-old daughter True and their baby boy who was born via surrogate last year in July.
